After a four-year musical journey, Montreal's Hansom Eli presents their debut album SIP — a culmination of creative exploration.

Comprising 11 original tracks, the duo skillfully blends bilingual elements, weaving English and French seamlessly into their musical tapestry. Rooted in their upbringing, their lyrics tell personal stories, like the heartfelt homage to their grandmother in "Oumamie," drawing from family stories to create a lyrical narrative set against a musical backdrop reminiscent of Stromae's emotional and eclectic style.

Beyond personal tales, the album engages with pressing societal issues, with a particular focus on environmental concerns. Camille, the vocalist and co-lyricist, currently studying environmental design, infuses the album with thoughts, worries, and values regarding our uncertain environmental future.

Musically, Hansom Eli embraces eclecticism, a hallmark of their artistic journey. The album is a synthesis of their diverse influences, spanning pop, indie, electro, ambient, funk, and jazz. This amalgamation serves as a testament to their commitment to musical innovation and a reflection of their unique identity. As they bring together years of experimentation and evolution, Hansom Ēli crafts an album that stands as a testament to their artistic growth and a celebration of musical diversity.

The duo has garnered attention through collaborations with various International and Canadian artists and has had the privilege of opening for esteemed musicians such as Daniel Bélanger and Clara Luciani. They have also graced the stages of prestigious events like SXSW, Francos de Montréal, Pop Montreal and Osheaga.
